Job Description:

Main Place Optometry is seeking a Full-time, dedicated Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. Job Responsibilities: Dispensing glasses and contact lenses Performing lensometry Assisting with eye care procedures Utilizing technology for patient records and communication Providing excellent customer service Ordering and maintaining inventory Handling insurance claims Conducting general repairs and adjustments Performing various administrative tasks Qualifications: Certified Optician or Licensed Dispensing Optician are welcome but not required Previous work experience in optometric practices are preferred but not required Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required Strong in general computer and mathematical skills High School diploma is minimally required Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance SIMPLE IRA retirement plan Generous vacation and sick leave Paid holidays Bonus Salary: $22 hourly and up (actual wage is based on experience and knowledge presented) DEI Statement: At Main Place Optometry, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.
