Manager (EPM) within the Ecosystems Products and Technology
organization you will drive the rapid advancement of environmental
initiatives, materials and processes that are the building blocks
of our devices.DescriptionYou will work with a team of
cross-functional partners and external vendors to develop, test,
and validate new material solutions for a wide range of Apple and
Beats products. Your ability to deep dive into material
fundamentals, creatively solve challenging logistics and technical
problems, and collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary
teams are key to delivering the best material solutions and
products to our customers.Minimum QualificationsExcellent
communication, organizational and leadership skillsAbility to
independently drive projects and deliver a productFlexible and calm
in the face of ambiguityStrong materials fundamentals and
familiarity with thermoplastics, films/coatings5+ years experience
in project management for mechanical engineering or materials
productionExperience collaborating with Mechanical
Engineering/Design and OperationsExperience managing key vendor
relationships and complex production requirementsExperience
creating and managing complex project schedulesExperience providing
project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive
managementAbility to travel as this position will require domestic
and international travel (up to 20%)Preferred QualificationsBS
Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is
preferredCollaborate and facilitate communication across Design,
Engineering, Operations teams and our OEM partners to meet very
aggressive schedule, and quality goalsLead multi-functional
communication between project teams and external vendorsDrive
day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectivesManage and
complete purchase requisitions within budget guidelinesUnderstand
technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key
partners for decision makingPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one
part of our total compensation package and is determined within a
range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and
develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between
$129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your
skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees
also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through
participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock
unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if
voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
