Fast growing & reputable Co. with a strong reputation in the industry is actively interviewing for a solid leader. The leader of the Logistics Team and the Warehouse Team (includes warehouse operators,supervisors, and third party warehouse companies) will be appointed as the key point of contact for all aspects of the logistics function and all aspects of the warehousing function and leads operational improvements and drives results through the logistics and warehousing teams. In addition, candidate selected will be responsible for leading and supporting cross-functional supply chain initiatives and utilizes continuous improvement methodologies with team to improve performance across safety, service, quality and cost. Able to manage department budgets and communicate effectively with corporate finance team as needed.A champion for metrics and scorecards to identify trends, indicate progress against specific initiatives and highlight areas of focus.Functional area expert in internal transportation, third party freight services, warehouse operations, inventory management and third party warehouse services is a huge plus. Ensures up-stream and down-stream customers are supported and are informed of changes that might affect them.
