Job Description At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better placeFrom the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared valuesWe're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growthFind your future with usBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join Space Intelligence and Weapons System (SI&WS) team supporting Rapid Space Capability (RSC) programs in El Segundo, CA We are seeking a motivated career-driven professional to support program and portfolio scheduling initiatives in a growing product areaIn this role, you will support RSC development programs and production using MS Project Server portfolio managementAs an Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) team member, you will be required to develop proposal plans and schedules, baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of IPMR Format 6 deliverablesYou will participate in all aspects of IP&S activities and execute the following to provide actionable, value-added products to their customers:--- Program Planning - Develop initial planning products (e.gIMP, WBS, Master Phasing Schedule, High-Level Flows)
* Program Scheduling - Develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
* Detailed Scheduling & Change Management - Develop and maintain lower-level schedules
* Change Integration - Manage the change integration teams
* Project Management - Lead key program initiatives to improve execution Position Responsibilities:--- In charge of the program IMS and serve as the schedule lead for the Integrated Product team in developing, integrating, and maintaining the IMS reporting to the Program Management team
* Works closely with Integrated Product Team Leads, IP&S team, and program leadership to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules such as the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Master Phasing Plan, Critical Path Analysis, High-Level Flow (HLF) and detailed schedules below the IMS
* Accountable for schedule compliance, assessment of schedule risk, identification of opportunities (including schedule margin planning), and providing robust/actionable performance reporting from the IMS to support and drive program management understanding and action
* Leads integration of supplier and partner plans and schedules into the IMS to ensure the whole team is operating to the same rhythm and priorities
* Models driving program execution through quick turn generation of prospective schedule performance analyses, recovery/alternate scenario planning, and improved schedule visibility/visualizationThis position is expected to be 100% onsiteThe selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed locationShift: This position is for 1st shift Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.SSecurity Clearance for which the U.SGovernment requires U.SCitizenshipAn interim and/or final U.STop Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):--- Experience using Microsoft Project
* 5+ years' experience in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role
* Experience in Critical Path Methodology, analysis and reporting Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):--- Bachelor's Degree or higher
* Experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
* Experience using Open Plan Professional
